Hemp fibres help to gently removes fake tan, dry dull skin and encourage new, fresh cell turnover.  Many skincare products contain chemicals that can dry or irritate your skin.  Our dry hemp mitts just need water.

Hemp is one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable resources on earth – it’s water-efficient, durable and carbon negative!  This vegan-friendly hemp cloth is 100% biodegradable, compostable and even safe for home composting.

BENEFITS OF HEMP

  • Hemp uses a fraction of the water needed to grow cotton, and it absorbs more carbon dioxide per hectare than other crops and most trees.
  • Nothing goes to waste with hemp, from stalks used for producing fibres, seeds used for fuel, leaves and roots used for medicine. Used to produce over 20,000 products.
  • Hemp regenerates soil, its leaves and roots are full of soil rich nutrients and does not require any pesticides or herbicides to grow. Not only that, it absorbs heavy metals and pollutants from the soil around them.
  • Hemp has a much faster crop yield. It takes about 3–4 months for hemp stalks to reach maturity, while trees can take between 20 and 80 years.
  • Hemp material is biodegradable, compostable and recyclable. It is also antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiallergen.
  • Hemp flowering cycle happens between July and September, during which there is a lack of pollen from other crops. It produces large amounts of pollen for bees and other insects as well as, nutritious seeds for wild birds enhancing biodiversity.
  • 9-15 tons of CO2 sequestered annually per hectare of hemp, which is more than a young forest
  • Hemp is natural, soft, strong and absorbent, which makes it the perfect sustainable alternative to plastic, cotton and other materials used for products such as wipes and clothing

Direction for use & disposal

Remove a mitt from recyclable packaging and simply soak with water to moisten cloth.  Gently wipe away impurities/fake tan from body.  For best results, we recommend exfoliating skin once a week, while showering using warm water.  External use only and avoid contact with eyes.  Avoid using on broken or irritated skin, discontinue use if discomfort or irritation occurs.

Whilst these mitts are biodegradable and compostable, please do not flush down toilet.  Please dispose of in compost bin or with general waste.
